Vinyl Lacquer is a fast drying lacquer with outstanding performance for use as a decorative intermediate coat for fishing lures. The flexibility of LureWorks Vinyl Lacquer gives superior chip resistance versus regular lacquers. Works great on wood, hard plastics, and metals, especially lead. For metal applications, use Vinyl Lacquer Primer as a base coat before applying Vinyl Lacquer color. Recommended topcoat is our Water Based Urethane Clear Coat 4901.

For airbrush application, LureWorks Vinyl Lacquers must be reduced with Thinner by 30-40%. Use Medium Thinner VL 5068, Fast Thinner VL 5080, or Retarder 5069. Reduction levels may need to be adjusted based on your individual ambient conditions or airbrush setup. Pressure recommendation is 20-30 psi but will vary with ambient conditions, gun type, needle size, and amount of thinner used. Refer to spray gun manufacturers recommendations. Use Fast Thinner VL 5080 or Medium Thinner VL 5068 for clean up.
