VPI Dotting Paint
Dotting Paint is thicker and more concentrated than regular VPI. Dotting Paint has a high percentage of retarder in it which gives it a slower drying time. It works well with Paasche’s® Flow Pencil™ (Airbrush Accessories) for lines, dots and eyes. The slower drying time also allows it to be brushed like art paints. Dotting Paint can be modified with thinner for airbrushing and dipping applications. It is compatible with regular VPI paint and Soft Plastic Paint.
Dotting Paint must be applied outside or in a room with proper ventilation, i.e. exhaust fan. Use NIOSH approved respirator (Safety Gear) and safety glasses when painting. LureWorks also offers the Paasche® Spray Booth (Painting Accessories) for airbrushing.
